Better than “King Pin” the Movie BMRC Bowling Night

On Saturday November 21st, SFU Rugby’s men’s teams will have just completed a hard fought game against the Scribes at their home field and will return to Poco for our annual Bowling tournament!

Tickets are $20
Your ticket includes:

*One Regular Game
*One Crazy Game
*One Bingo Bowl Game
*Free shoe rental
*Coffee, tea and/or water

We will also have our own bar set-up to quench alternative thirsts.

Costumes are mandatory.

2009 Christmas Banquet

The SFU Rugby Christmas Banquet has been going on for over 30 years and has hosted the very best and brightest of our rugby squads to outstanding meals and dances.

THE GAME (12PM [women] and 1PM [men]) at TBD:
Old boy/young boy games have been occurring since before most of us were born and the old boys have won every game (usually due to some form of trickery or questionable calls by the old boy ref). Additionally, Anup usually spends about 5 – 80 minutes in the sin bin for various offenses. We continue this proud tradition of the old boy/young boy game to this day.

THE BANQUET (~6:30PM) AT PORT MOODY LEGION:
It is a formal event which involves some sort of formal attire (suit and tie ideally). The food served at this event has always been outstanding. There is a dance floor, a bar and awesome events as the night goes through!

THE PLAY (chez le banquet):
For the newer members of the team, this is an opportunity to meet some of the old boys. Last year, tragically, the tradition of the Rookie Christmas Play was lost. This  year it is being reinstated, and it must involve Christmas overtones and it should probably involve people playing the Westons as it has for like 8 or 9 years now. The play should have about 10 rookies or so.
